Adecco announces its 2016 ‘CEO for One Month’


Kuala Lumpur, 28 June 2016: Adecco Malaysia, the nation’s leading provider of HR solutions, announced 26-year-old Azlan Shah A. Shafiuddin as their new ‘CEO for One Month’.


Azlan is among 50 outstanding youngsters chosen from over 54,600 applicants to be Adecco’s ‘CEO for One Month’ in their respective countries. He will work alongside Alma Othman, Adecco Malaysia’s Country Manager, the firm’s leadership teams, gaining invaluable job experience along the way.


Adecco created the CEO for One Month programme to support talented youngsters in their career prospects by providing valuable work-based training to boost their employability. That includes a one month internships alongside Adecco Country Managers in 50 countries, letting youngsters learn on the job, gain insights and inspiration for their eventual professional choices, as well as adding a unique experience to make their CVs really stand out.


Azlan will go through an intense programme which includes learning about the HR solutions and staffing business, grasp broader management knowledge, finance and marketing principles, being exposed to clients, and having opportunities for public speaking. He will also have an opportunity to proceed to a further stage – the CEO Boot Camp in Zurich, Switzerland – for a chance to become Adecco’s Global ‘CEO for One Month’.
